Starting September 10th, Robbin Stalma has been appointed as the new Event Director of the CrossFit Lowlands Throwdown. Former Event Director Jos Hermans, who resigns after 10 years, hands over his work to Robbin with complete confidence. Robbin has been the event & media producer of the biggest CrossFit competition in the BeNeLux for the past 3 years and is looking forward to his new position.
Head judge and programmer Wesley Cloos also changes position within the renewed team of the CrossFit Lowlands Throwdown. From September 10th on, Wesley will continue as Competition Director.
Robbin and Wesley have big plans for the competition. “It’s our goal to further professionalize the competition, as well as to introduce a number of new events,” Robbin says. “I am grateful for the foundation built by the previous board and look forward to lift the event, which will again be a sanctioned event in the 2020 season, to an even higher level.''.
Robbin, Wesley and their renewed team also want to put more focus on the CrossFit Community in the BeNeLux. Wesley; “After all, that’s the region for whom we started this competition 10 years ago.”.
The team behind the CrossFit Lowlands Throwdown is expected to announce the details for the 2020 season by the end of this week.
